Responsibilities of the muscular system.....

assists via the muscular contraction in the mobilisation of both the blood and lymphatic circulation around the body and also more importantly the communication between the brain and body.

Via the skin, they play a very important role in regulating body temperature (vaso - constriction/dilation).

They are responsible for the stability of both the body and joints. By this they assist us in the maintaining of our postural tone and position without compromising our safety.

Skeletal muscles are the only groups of muscles we have a conscious control over.

They have electrical excitability, contractibility, extensibility and elasticity.

Blood  vessels,  are the transportation path for the blood circulatory system system.

Lymph vessels, are the transportation path for the lymphatic system.

The nerve fibres are the

transportation path for the nervous system, they are also responsible for ALL exchange of communications between the body (internal and external) and mind.
